Crest - Family Banking Programme
Bandhan Bank Crest is a Family Banking Programme that allows you to link your family’s individual accounts under one group. This helps you enjoy shared benefits, better relationship value, and easy management of everyone’s banking needs in one place.
When your family joins the Crest Family Banking Programme, you can enjoy:
- Combined Total Relationship Value (TRV) or Monthly Average Balance (MAB) at the family group level
- A dedicated Relationship Manager
- Preferential locker rental rates*
- Welcome Delight Points (reward points) for all members*
- Accidental insurance cover for all members, as per the primary member’s default debit card features*
- Quarterly milestone Delight Points based on combined debit card spends by all group members*
- Exclusive loan processing fee waivers, subject to eligibility*

Benefits vary depending on your programme group.
You can join one of the following groups:
- Crest Legacy Savings Account Family Group
- Crest Elite Plus Savings Account Family Group
- Crest Elite Savings Account Family group
- Crest Premium Savings Account Family Group
- Crest Premium Salary Account Family Group
- Crest Shaurya Salary Account Family Group
One of the family members must have one of the below mentioned account types with the Bank to become primary member to create the family group. If not, then account needs to be opened as per account eligibility criteria:
- Legacy Savings
- Elite Plus Savings
- Elite Savings
- Premium Savings
- Premium Salary
- Shaurya Salary
For salary accounts, regular salary credit for at least 3 consecutive months is required. The primary member must have the highest account variant in the group.
If any family member holds one of the above‑mentioned account types and you have a different savings account variant, you can still enroll in the Crest Family Banking Programme by submitting the Crest Family Banking Application Form. If you do not currently have a savings account with the Bank, please visit your nearest branch to open an account as per the eligibility criteria of the variant.
Once the account is opened, you can submit the Crest Family Banking Application Form to create the family group.
No. Current Accounts cannot be part of a Savings or Salary Family Group.
A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members can be added.(Total 5 members including primary member)
Eligible members include spouse, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws (father, mother, sister), nephew, and niece.
Visit any Bandhan Bank branch and submit the signed Family Banking Application Form.
The family member holding the highest account variant becomes the primary member. Your Family or Group ID and Group Code will be created accordingly.
It is the Customer ID of the primary member.
Yes, provided the programme criteria are met.
Yes. New members can be added if their account variant is eligible and equal to or lower than the primary member’s variant.
You cannot upgrade directly. To move to a higher group, you must dissolve the existing group and create a new one with the highest variant account holder as the new primary member.

Example:
If the primary member has an Elite Savings Account, the other members can have Advantage, Classic, or Premium variants.
Yes, with a duly filled Family Banking form signed by the primary member and the member being added or removed.
No. One customer can be part of only one Family Group.
The member then must become the primary member. The existing group must be dissolved and a new one formed.
No. There is no joining fee for enrolling into Bandhan Bank Crest Family Banking.
Family members to maintain the TRV/MAB together or separately as per account variant basis the family banking programme construct for the group. . In case group MAB/TRV is not maintained, then customer needs to maintain the individual account level TRV/MAB. If that is also not met, then MAB charges shall be applicable
Then balance requirements are checked individually as per each member’s account criteria
If still not maintained, MAB charges apply.
While charges shall be levied/not levied basis TRV or MAB of product. However, if the group does not maintain it for 1-year, the group will be dissolved.
Whatever accidental insurance the primary member gets under their debit card is also extended to all family members. Please note, the debit card must remain active with at least one financial transaction in the last six months.
At the time of the claim, you can choose the family-level or your individual coverage.
Yes, family members can join regardless of the state their accounts are held in.
Only the Family Banking Application Form, duly signed by all members.
Yes. Example: If all four members have Elite Savings Accounts, you can join the Crest Elite Savings Account Group and simply choose any one member as the primary member.
You just need to sign the Family Banking Programme declaration. Additionally, the KYC documents already submitted by each customer during onboarding may be referred to, if needed, for verification purposes.
